Privacy Statement for Due North AS
This privacy statement explains how Due North AS is responsible for collecting and processing of personal data. The General Manager is responsible for ensuring that this information is correctly protected. In Norway, the collection of personal data is regulated by the Personal Data Act.
Privacy and cookies
This website uses cookies. As an important part of creating a user-friendly website, we use Google Analytics to analyze the user pattern of those visiting our website.
Google Analytics uses cookies (small text files that the website stores on the user's computer or mobile device), which register the user's IP address, and which provide information about the individual user's online movements. Examples of what the statistics give us answers to are; how many people visit various pages, how long the visit lasts, which websites the users come from, and which browsers are used. None of the cookies enable us to link information about your use of the website to you as an individual.
The information collected by Google Analytics is stored on Google's servers in the USA. Information received is subject to Google's privacy policy.
An IP address is defined as personal data because it can be traced back to a specific piece of hardware and thus to an individual. We use Google Analytics' tracking code which anonymizes the IP address before the information is stored and processed by Google. Thus, the stored IP address cannot be used to identify the individual user.

Name: _ga Expiry date: 2 years. Used to distinguish between unique, anonymous users - and gathers information about behavior.
Name: _gat Expiry date: 10 min. Used to slow down the request rate and limit the collection of data on websites with high traffic.
Privacy Policy
In order to create and execute journeys for our clients, Due North is obliged to obtain information about our travelers. This information includes, but is not limited to; names, date of birth, address, contact information and any special requirements (e.g., dietary needs, information about allergies) necessary to customize the journey to the travelers’ needs and expectations. We take every precaution to ensure that this information is stored securely and remains private. In certain instances, it will be necessary to share this information with the suppliers involved in the journey (e.g., hotels, transportation companies, local guides, and activity suppliers). You are welcome to contact us if you would like a copy of your registered personal information.
Kindly note that if you book your journey through a travel agent, it is the agent’s privacy policy that will apply. Due North is not responsible for the privacy policy of other companies.
